1001winampskins.com lives up to its name |

At last, we have finally reached the amount of 1001 Winamp skins featured on the site. This is a good reason to celebrate, since the amount of 1001 skins is exactly what the name of the website implies. So you might ask, which skin has the honor to become the 1001 skin?!? The lucky candidate is a new skin called NapsterAmp, made by Brendan Rice. NapsterAmp is based on the Napster program, which most Winamp users should be familiar with. The skin features the Napster logo and mainly uses colors from the Beta5 version. I thought it would be a good idea to choose this skin, for all the trouble the Napster people have been going through in the past days. For those that are not informed, Napster was to be shut down late last night, but The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted Napster's request to delay their shutting down until their hearing on August 18th.
